2. Principle

We process personal data only to the extent necessary for secure website operation, the provision of functions, and the handling of inquiries.

3. Server log files

When the website is accessed, technically necessary connection data is processed, in particular:

  • IP address
  • date and time of access
  • accessed URL
  • referrer URL
  • HTTP status code
  • browser and operating system information

Purpose: stability, security, and error analysis.
Legal basis: Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.

4. Tracking used (without cookie banner)

We use the following audience and performance measurement:

  • Cloudflare Web Analytics (cookieless)
  • Nuxt-based server-side usage and performance analysis without access to end-device storage

Measurement is performed in aggregated form to technically optimize the website. No marketing or retargeting profiles are created.

We do not use:

  • Google Analytics
  • Adobe Analytics
  • Matomo/Piwik
  • Meta Pixel or similar marketing trackers

Since no non-essential tracking cookies or comparable end-device access for marketing purposes are used, we currently do not use a cookie consent banner.

5. Technically required cookies

The website only uses technically required cookies for access protection and CMS login:

  • 'bestsaller_site_auth' (authentication for protected areas)
  • 'cms_session' (CMS session)

Depending on enabled Cloudflare security features, additional technically required protection cookies may be set (e.g., bot/challenge protection).

When contacting us by email or phone, we process the data you provide (e.g., name, contact details, inquiry content) as required to handle your request.

  • Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR (general inquiries)

7. Recipients

Data is shared only where legally permissible and necessary, in particular with technical service providers acting under data processing agreements.

8. Storage period

We store personal data only as long as required for the respective purposes or as required by statutory retention obligations.

9. Your rights

You have the rights under Art. 15-21 GDPR, in particular:

  • access
  • rectification
  • erasure
  • restriction of processing
  • data portability
  • objection

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory data protection authority (Art. 77 GDPR).

We update this privacy policy whenever services used, technical processes, or legal requirements change.
